Does he like me, or not? (long story.)?

So, there's this guy. His name's Matt & he's cute & everything. So, one night he was on my friends account or so I thought he was. It could have been Brendan, my friend. But anywooh, he was like "Hi, it's Matt. You look pretty cute." & We talked for awhile & "Matt." asked me out. I said no, because I wasn't sure if it was really Matt. Smart right? Well, weeks passed & I talked to Brendan about it & he said it definitly was Matt & not him. So, I was talking to Matt & he said it definitly WASN'T him & that he doesn't like me. I told Brendan & this is what he said, "HE FREAKING LIKES YOU! BUT SINCE YOU SAID YOU DIDN'T LIKE HIM, HE NOW THINKS YOU'RE TRYING TO EMBARRASS HIM!" & I told Matt & he said, "I'm gonna kill his little @ss. If you want me to speak the truth on how I don't like you, then I will! I DON'T LIKE YOU!!!!! STOP GETTING GEEKED & WORRYING ABOUT IT!"& I was like uuh, who do I believe? So, I went to a party & he was there. -.- My friend said he kept staring at me but I never saw him, I actually caught him staring at my friend! So, who's telling the truth? Matt or Brendan? Oh, & Matt's brother likes me if that helpes any.
