Do you miss Jonathan Ross?

Ok so as somebody who lives in Ireland a program that I regularly enjoyed watching was Friday Night With Jonathan Ross. I thought it was hilarious, witty and laugh-out-loud funny. I just couldn't understand why the Brits didn't think the same?What was it about Jonathan Ross that you guys really didn't take to?I know there was controversy over his salary and the whole sachgate incident but the man was funny, entertaining and could break through the most media savvy stars to tell him when they last had sex, instead of hearing them plug their new books, movie, clothing line and perfume. What would you rather. Let me tell you now as a person who lives in Ireland, would you rather a 'safe' presenter?somebody who is boring, who asks the prescribed boring questions that get the same prescribed boring answers? In my country we have Ryan Tubridy, Brendan O'Connor and Craig Doyle. People who are not in the least bit interesting, witty or funny. You do not know who lucky you are to have people who are actually talented. Jonathan Ross is an intelligent and interesting man who gets the most of the guests. Why don't you appreciate him?I have not only watched his chat show but his japanorama and film review show. He is hugely cultured and has an ability to spot the latest pop culture hit. Believe me I know this is a rant but it just annoys me. I have seen guests who were on his chat show on and then on Irelands The Late Late Show a week later and they went from being themselves to being a shell of themselves all in the space of a week. So my question is now that Ross has been away for a while do you Brits miss him and what you had?
